‘Heartbeat Maldon' is a little project that explores the elder community of the historic Central Victorian town of Maldon. Rose interviewed nine local people - some who have grown up in the town, others who have moved there in later life. Over numerous cups of tea (and sometimes cake or a vanilla slice!), Rose enquired about times in people’s lives when their heart was beating fast. And what a fine collection of answers including digging up an Aboriginal skeleton, being cornered by a bull, a first awkward kiss, night time fears (spiders, ghosts & imaginary dogs), fast cars, fast trucks, scary planes and lots of stealing - balloons, lipstick, apples and locquats!
